Who Are DOS?

Discounted Office Supplies was established in 1989 under the name Commercial Envelopes. Over the years the family run business has steadily grown and in early 2005 we relocated to Dalgety Bay, Fife and changed the name to Discounted Office Supplies. As a family owned company we rely on our relationships with customers and as such keeping you happy is our number one priority.

We stock over 1,000 lines in our warehouse in Dalgety Bay and with the backing of our wholesalers and Integra, the UK's largest office supplies buying group, can offer a highly competitive package that we believe competes with anyone.

Over the years we have found our niche in a very competitive market.  We are dedicated to supplying local customers in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife where we can deliver in our own vehicles and add that personal touch throughout your experience with us.  We can supply throughout the UK via our suppliers when required so please contact us if you require such a service.  Our principle objective is to make the world of office supplies both easy and enjoyable for you - we tend to treat all of our customers as friends and we hope that relationship is reciprocated.

We hope that the latest reincarnation of our website offers you both a highly functional online portal where you can find out what you need easily as well as giving you more of an insight into both the company and the people.  We've introduced a section with customer testimonials so you can read what other customers think of us and we've also included a gallery so you can see what goes one behind the scenes - a no holds barred view you may say!

Meet the DOS Boys

	Frank Hunt Began the business back in the late eighties. Been around the block and is quite literally the 'father figure' of the company. Frank looks after the Fife customers and also does his bit to help out those in West Lothian when Chris is needed back in the office. Interests: In recent times Frank has become an aficionado of the Lake District and takes every opportunity he can to get the hiking boots on and march over a fell to his place of dreams... a Lake District pub!  Just don't get him talking about The Lakes as you'll be there for hours! 	Roger Hunt Joined the business in 1996 after spending five years at Napier University... or in the student union to be fair!  Spends the working day shackled to his desk while taking orders, solving problems and doing everything possible to keep the customers happy. Interests: The years of hedonism have long gone now, and with work and a five year old leisure time is a very valuable commodity.  A love of golf has returned this year and is followed by gardening in a list of pastimes - old age has hit very early! 	Chris Hunt Joined up with the rest of the family in 1997 and has been keeping customers happy with that cheeky smile ever since. Chris services the customers south of the river (Forth) and has always gone above and beyond the call of duty to keep those he serves delighted. Interests: Chris is a patronised 'Leither' who's an active type and spends his time between David Lloyd, the snooker club, the golf course, the ski slopes and most importantly in the licensed establishments of Leith.
